Do You Believe in Ghosts? 👻

Hi guys,
Today I want to share a real story with you all… a little scary, a little strange, and totally unforgettable.

When I was in first grade, I don’t remember exactly how old I was, but I clearly remember this strange incident that happened at my Nani’s home. I am from Uttarakhand, and my Nani’s village is surrounded by dense forest — their house is right in the middle of it.

My Nani and family don’t live there permanently. They only come during vacations, and that time, we also visited for our holiday. Everything was fine… until one night.

After dinner, we all went to sleep. But in the middle of the night, I suddenly woke up because I had to pee.
I looked around… everyone was fast asleep.
The bathroom was far away, and since I was alone and scared, I didn’t want to go there. So instead, I went outside near our house and did it there.

After I was done, I went towards the water pipe to drink some water.
And that’s when I saw him…

A man, standing there, drinking water using a lota (small water container), making a strange “gad gad gad…” sound.

At first, I thought it was my papa, so I asked loudly,
“Papa, are you drinking water?”

But when I looked through the window, I saw my papa was sleeping inside the house, sound asleep.

I looked back at the man — and there was no one there.

My heart started beating fast, and I ran back to the house at the speed of light. I closed the channel of the water pipe and jumped straight into my bed.

At that moment, I felt as if someone had taken my soul… just for a moment.

To this day, I still wonder…
Was it a ghost?
Or was it… maybe a very thirsty invisible man? 😆👻

Either way, one thing’s for sure — I never drank water from that pipe again at night 😂
